Somerset Village is a restful yet exciting combination of rolling hills, friendly neighbors and beautiful homes. This little village of 220 homesites has already drawn together a homogeneous group of people with a variety of backgrounds, families and age groups.

The entry is located right off the main street of Allen, TX on the Western edge of the golf course with a lighted waterfall, fountains, a decorative wrought iron gazebo and sweeping landscape.

Developed by Hillwood Corporation, a Perot property, in 2005 it has been drawing interested home buyers from all over the country who immediately fall in love with the area.

With over 150 homes built and occupied already, this has become a premier location in Allen not only for "semi-retired" couples but a great mix of young couples who have done their homework and know what a  great school system the city of Allen has produced.  There are about 60 school age children already in Somerset with more being attracted here.

The people of Somerset Village enjoy knowing their neighbors and feel safe with a network of block captains as participants in the Neighborhood Watch Program.  Allen Police are very responsive to any calls made by Twin Creeks residents with many of the city officials as residents.

The villagers even have their own "Somerset Gear" with a beautiful coat of arms that not only unites the community but says: "We are Somerset and we love living here."
